Styling your summer suit

After the cold month of February, we’re looking forward to warmer days as we approach late spring and early summer. New summer suits just in, include some lovely styles, colours and fabrics, ideal for this time of year.

As the weather warms up, spring/summer weddings and events are in high demand! Whether you’re after the perfect suit for your wedding, have a special summer party to attend or an invitation to the races, we have lots to offer at Chimney Menswear.

Soft shades such as light grey and blue can work well this time of year, along with neutrals and pastel shades in soft linens and breathable fabrics. Linen makes sense when you need to keep cool, while cotton can offers more structure. A lightweight wool can often be a good option for your summer suit and can be excellent for keeping cool.

Brighter colours can be used in your accessories, adding a pop of colour to your outfit, along with the design and fabric of your tie, pocket square and shirt. Floral designs such as ‘William Morris’ or a Liberty print work well and help to add a burst of summer sunshine!
