Wedding season is truly underway and to help make sure you’re looking fabulous on your special day here are five styling mistakes that can sometimes be made when styling your outfit and advice on how to fix them!
Making small adjustments to your suit can make all the difference to your wedding day, helping you to relax and enjoy all the other exciting bits!

Styling Mistake - How to wear your waistcoat . . .
When wearing your waistcoat try to avoid showing any shirt at the bottom below the last button, as this can look a little untidy. Pull up your trousers, tuck in your shirt or fasten the bottom button if it helps.

Styling Mistake - Trouser Pockets . . .
When it's photo time, remember not to have anything in your pockets
such as keys or a phone as this spoils the line of your trousers and will show up on the photos.

Styling Mistake - Jacket buttons . . .
It's not necessary to do your jacket up if wearing a waistcoat underneath, it often looks more elegant and slimming to show off your waistcoat!
If your photographer requires a more formal shot, then just the top button will suffice.

Styling Mistake - Stitching . . .
If you purchase a suit from us, remember to unpick any holding stiches on your vents or pockets before wearing your suit.

Button hole . . .
A final word on wearing your button hole. We advise not to use the buttonhole on your jacket lapel, but to place it along the lapel just above the pocket, ensuring all of your groomsmen are matching.
Whilst styling mistakes are avoidable, there are many ways to style up your wedding outfit. Here are three suggestions you may wish to use for any smart occasion where a suit is needed.
Pocket squares can be pinched in the middle before putting into your breast pocket. Once in the pocket, pull back out slightly and puff out.
Wearing your trousers with the right amount of break is very much a personal choice. Here we illustrate wearing them slightly shorter showing off your socks. Alternatively they can be worn longer, with the back of the trouser sitting at the middle of your shoe heel.
Shades of Chestnut brown shoes work best with a navy suit and can make all the difference to your overall appearance. Black can of course be worn, but will create a very formal look more appropriate for more formal events.
